Day 1: Tbilisi
Arrival to Tbilisi. Meeting with the representatives of the agency. Hotel accommodation. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 2: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Tbilisi
Breakfast. Excursion in Tbilisi. The capital of Georgia is unique.It stands on the several mountain hills, on which "creep" the old blocks. Tbilisi - is a beautiful river Kura with its picturesque rocky shores, that flows across the whole city. Tbilisi is one of the rare places in the world, where can peacefully exist in the Old Town orthodox church, catholic cathedra, synagogue and mosque. Walk through the Jewish quarter. A visit to the synagogue.
Visit of Mechetian Church ( V c.), Synaxis of Saint Truinity of the temple complex of Tsminda Sameba - the main Cathedral of Georgian Orthodox Church. "Old Town" - is the historic center of Tbilisi, that is located at the root of Mtatsminda (Holy Mount) mountain. Almost all of the buildings of the Old Town are historical and cultural sites, this part of the city is round - the - clock full of life, here walk alone or in groups tourists, meet lovers near the Clock Tower. Day 3: Tbilisi – David Gareji – Manavi – Sighnaghi
Breakfast. Excursion in David Gareji – the complex of georgian cave monasteries of V century, that were founded by Holy Father David. According to legend, Saint David reached Jerusalem, he took three stones at the gates of of Jerusalem, and went back. Legend says that with those stones he carried out from Jerusalem all the good of Lord. Then the Patriarch of Jerusalem caught up with him and asked to leave these stones. David left two stones, and one of them he brought to Georgia. This stone is still at his grave in the Laura of David-Gareji. You can see it and pray over this stone. Many churches and refectories of the complex preserved frescoes (VI-IXvv.), including Portrait of Queen Tamara. Arrival to the "town of everlasting love" Sighnaghi. First, passing through, acquaintance with the history of the Manavi Fortress (XI century) and the Manavi Temple (XVIII century). The church was built in 1794 by the abbot of the monastery of John the Baptist from the monastery David Gareji - Ephraim. In the 17th century here was located the royal vineyards and the estate of Heraclius II. Stop in the pearl of Kakheti - a private estate "Chateau Fort de Manavi". Day 4: Sighnaghi – Kvareli – Gremi – Tsinandali – Tbilisi Breakfast. Excursion in the "town of everlasting love" Sighnaghi. Walk along the ancient town Sighnaghi, that is placed at the top of the ridge, overlooking Alazani valley.It was currently restored to its original from. Next stop in Kvareli Winemaking Khareba - wine depository in tunnels, the longest of 7.7 km with a wine collection of vintage wines. It has a natural temperature of 12-14 C throughout the year, ideal for storing and ageing wine. Arrival to Tbilisi. On the way, excursion in Gremi royal fortress (XVI c.). The complex is surrounded by the wall with towers and embrasures. The remains of the secret underground passage, that leads to the river, survived. Tour of the House Museum, Al. Chavchavadze. Visit the wine cellar (XVI century.) in Tsinandali. The cellar contains more than 15 thousand bottles of different brands. The oldest wine dates back to 1814. Excursion in Telavi - main city and administrative center of Kakhetia, museum - fortress of king Erekle II (XVIII c.), that signed Treaty of Georgievsk with the Russian Empire. Hotel accommodation in Tbilisi. Closing dinner with national songs and dances. Overnight.
Day 5: Tbilisi
Breakfast. Depending on the departure time, cognac degustation on a plant "Sarajishvili". Company "Sarajishvili" is the oldest and largest manufacturer of Georgian cognac and successor of the firm of David Sarajishvili plant - the founder of the industrial production of cognac on the classical technology. For years of existence of the Tbilisi Cognac Plant it collected 500,000 deciliters perennial cognac alcohols and blended cognacs that were aged in the 16 thousand oak barrels. Buying souvenirs.
