The official date of the creation of cognac "Eneseli" is 1946, the winery has been discovered in the 1950s on the basis of well-known winemaker's wine cellar and a public figure Zakaria Jorjadze. In 1888, shorty after launching of the winery, the wine was awarded a gold medal at the international exhibition in Brussels.
Since the foundation, the plant "Eniseli" existed for 40 years, but in the 90's during the Civil War, was in a dilapidated condition and has been closed. Thus, the winery started to work - in production it have been implemented Western standards and modern technology and the company now produces dry red, white and sparkling wines, as well as renowned cognac "Eneseli" from grape varieties: Rkatsitelli, Mtsvane and Saperavi. |
