   1 day: Batumi – Gonio Apsar fortress – Batumi
Visit of Gonio Apsar fortress, which is located at a distance of 12 km south of Batumi, on the left bank of the river Chorokhi. Gonio Apsar fortress - is the oldest fortress in Georgia. The fortress was built in the I - II century and functioned as a citadel of the Roman and later Byzantine Empire. The total length of the walls of the fortress is 900 meters, wall height is 5 m, the height of its 18 towers - is 7 m. Return to Batumi.
