Day 2: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Tbilisi
Breakfast. Excursion in Tbilisi. The capital of Georgia is unique. It is located on the several mountain hills, on which the old blocks "creep". Tbilisi - is a beautiful river Kura with its picturesque rocky shores that flows across the whole city.
 
"Old Town" - is the historic center of Tbilisi that is located at the root of Mtatsminda (Holy Mount) mountain. Almost all of the buildings of the Old Town are historical and cultural sites, this part of the city is round shaped like a clock - full of life, here tourists walk alone or in groups, lovers meet near the Clock Tower. This amazing Tower appeared here recently, built by the Puppet Theatre director Rezo Gabriadze. Here artists exhibit their paintings, artisans offer numerous souvenirs. Basically there are 2-3 storied houses, built of brick and stone that have a particular Tbilisi architectural style, distinguished by narrow streets, galleries and carved wooden balconies.
Tbilisi is one of the rare places in the world, where Orthodox Church, Catholic Cathedral, Synagogue and Mosque can peacefully exist in the Old Town. During the excursion, we will visit Metekhi Church (V c.), Narikala fortress (IV c.), Sioni Cathedral (VI-VII c.), Anchiskhati Basilica of St Mary, the oldest surviving church in Tbilisi, Synaxis of Saint Trinity - temple complex of Tsminda Sameba - the main Cathedral of Georgian Orthodox Church.
Next, visit ancient capital of Georgia – Mtskheta – town museum included in the list of protected monument of UNESCO. Visit temple- monastery Jvari (VI c). Fantastic view of confluence of two rivers - Kura and Aragvi opens at the top of the mountain, where the temple is located. There you can enjoy also beautiful view of the ancient capital of Georgia - Mtskheta. Visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (1010-1029), at the bottom of which one of the major Christian relics Lords Robe is buried. This place is the burial site of many Georgian kings. There is also the part of life-giving pillar. Visit Samtavro monastery, where blackberry bush grows, flowers and fruits whole year round. Near this monastery St. Nino- enlightener, the preacher of Christianity in Georgia of IV century lived and preached Christianity. The date of official adoption of Christianity in Georgia is 324This fact is associated with the name of St. Nino, with the assistance and participation of the King St. Mirian and Queen St. Nana. It was St. Nino who persuaded the king Mirian and queen Nana to adopt Christianity in Georgia. Wonderworking icon of Iberian Mother of God, wonderworking icon of St. Nino, grave of St. king Mirian and Queen  Nana, hallows of St. Abibos Nekreseli, St. Shio Mghvimeli are located inside the church. Return to Tbilisi. Dinner. Day 3: Tbilisi – Ananuri – Gudauri – Kazbegi

Breakfast. In the morning, departure from Tbilisi in the direction of Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). On the way, we visit the picturesque Ananuri fortress (XVI c.), located at the Aragvi river and attracting visitors with the beauty of Zhinvali reservoir. Leaving behind the ski resort Gudauri (2200 m), enjoy the stunning trip along Tergi river, through Cross Pass (2400 m). Visit Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). Excursion in Kazbegi: church of the Holy Trinity of Gergeti (2170 m. above the sea level). With fair weather condition there is a chance to take a look of the stunning mountain Kazbegi (5147 m), one of the highest tops of Georgia. Hotel accommodation. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 4: Kazbegi

Breakfast. Free day. We can offer horse riding. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 5: Kazbegi – Borjomi – Akhaltsykhe
Breakfast. Departure to Akhaltsykhe. On the way, excursion in Borjomi. We will taste the worldknown mineral water Borjomi from the spring. Next, excursion in recently reconstructed Akhaltsykhe fortress, the motherland of Sharl Aznavur, the ancient center of Catholicism in Georgia. In the complex, together with Orthodox Church of St. Marina, there mosque, Catholic Church and monastery of Benedictine Sisters, synagogue and Armenian Church are placed. Hotel accommodation. Dinner. Day 6: Akhaltsykhe – Vardzia – Akhaltsykhe

Breakfast. Visit Vardzia cave monastery complex (XII- XIII c.) – 19 stored rock town. 900 m along the left bank of Kura river, in the plumb wall of the mountain, around 600 buildings are cut out – among them churches, chapels, parrocks, pantries, baths, libraries. There are preserved secret passages, remains of plumbing, and irrigation system. Vardzia - is the site of the era of Golden Age. More than thousands of monks lived there, and when being attacked, 20 thousand of people could find shelter there. Free time. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 7: Akhaltsykhe – Javakheti Plateau

Breakfast. Tour to the environmental places around Akhaltsykhe.
Javakheti Plateau — volcanic plateau in Georgia, that is a part of the South Georgian highlands, located to the south of Trialeti ridge between the Kura River in the west and to the east - Lower Kartli plain.
Highlands consists of a longitudinal ridge (Samsari and Javakheti) up to 3300m and plateaus (Tsalka, Gomareti, Dmanisi and Akhalkalaki) with the elevation from 1200 to 1700m created by andesine-basalt and trachyte lava. In the hollows there are many lakes of tectonic or volcanic origin (Paravani, Tabatskuri, Khanchali, Madatapa, Kartsakhi, Sagamo). Landscape is represented by mountain steppes, subalpine meadows used as pastures. Georgian cave monastery complex Vanis Kvabebi, built in the VIII century, is located on one of the rocks of the Highlands. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 8: Akhaltsykhe – Javakheti Lake (Paravani)
Breakfast. Tour to the environmental places around Akhaltsykhe.
Paravani is a lake in the province (mkhare) of Javakheti in southern Georgia, located on the territory the municipality of Ninotsminda between Javakheti and Samsari ridges. It is the largest lake in the country. The lake is located at an altitude of 2073 m above sea level. Its maximum and average depth is between 3.3 and 2.2 m. Lake volume is 91 million cubic meters of water. The water level is the highest in October and November, and the lowest - in May and June. In winter the lake freezes and ice thickness can reach 73 cm. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 9: Akhaltsykhe – Dedoflistskaro – Sighnaghi

Breakfast. Departure to Kakheti. Excursion in the national park of Chachuna – Preserved national park. Its total area is 5,200 hectares and is located 175 km from Tbilisi, is Kiziki - historical Kambechovani. Here you can find sand, sandstone, clay with layers of volcanic ash and grits. Surface of the reserve is not homogeneous. Clay hills, steep slopes, terraces and dry gorge quickly replace each other, and create beautiful landscapes. Departure to Sigangi. Hotel accommodation. Day 10: Sighnaghi – Dedoplitskaro – Sighnaghi
Breakfast. Excursion in Sighnaghi. In the village Bodbe visit monastery complex of St. George and the grave of St. Nino who brought Christianity to Georgia. Upon request, you can have bath in the holy waters of the miraculous power that heals the sick and makes miserable people happy. Excursion to the "city of eternal love" - Sighnaghi, which is located on top of a ridge rising above Alazani valley. Continue tour in the national park of  Chachuna. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 11: Sighnaghi – Manavi – David-Gareji – Tbilisi
Breakfast. Passing through, acquaintance with the history of the Manavi Fortress (XI century) and the Manavi Temple (XVIII century). The church was built in 1794 by the abbot of the monastery of John the Baptist from the monastery David Gareji - Ephraim. In the 17th century here was located the royal vineyards and the estate of Heraclius II. Stop in the pearl of Kakheti - a private estate "Chateau Fort de Manavi". In the program of the visit: an excursion to the Art Gallery, organized directly on the territory, where amazing works of local masters are presented; (optional for extra charge) tasting of wines and chacha, produced according to traditional old Georgian technology directly in the marani "Chateau Fort de Manavi" from grapes grown in the estate's own vineyards. The highlight of the tasting will be "Manavi Green" - a wine made from a special grape variety that grows only in the area of the village of Manavi in Georgia. Lunch in traditional Georgian style. The menu includes only Georgian cuisine from ECO products grown on the "Chateau Fort de Manavi" farm. Then, excursion in David Gareji – the complex of georgian cave monasteries of V century, that were founded by Holy Father David. According to legend, Saint David reached Jerusalem, he took three stones at the gates of of Jerusalem, and went back. Legend says that with those stones he carried out from Jerusalem all the good of Lord. Then the Patriarch of Jerusalem caught up with him and asked to leave these stones. David left two stones, and one of them he brought to Georgia. This stone is still at his grave in the Laura of David-Gareji. You can see it and pray over this stone. Many churches and refectories of the complex preserved frescoes (VI-IXvv.), including Portrait of Queen Tamara. Departure to Tbilisi, Hotel accommodation. Overnight.
