 Georgian museum of Fine Arts
 The National Gallery was established in 1920, and quickly became a center for Georgian arts and culture. The Gallery was reorganized in 1932, and the Fine Art Museum was founded on its basis. Georgian chased and painted icons, vitreous enamel, jewelry, textiles, and unique works of embroidery are presented in the treasury of the museum. Old Georgian wall paintings and masterpieces of Georgian, Russian, European, and Eastern countries attract visitors today. Opening hours: Tuesday–Sunday 11:00-17:00 Address: 1, L. Gudiashvili St., Tbilisi, Georgia The Open Air Museum was founded on April 27, 1966 by the famous Georgian ethnographer Giorgi Chitaia. It is located in Tbilisi's Vake district, to the west of "Turtle Lake". It occupies 52 hectares of land and houses more than eight thousand artifacts brought from all over Georgia. The Open Air Museum encompasses 14 ethnographic zones: Kartli, Samegrelo, Adjara, Abkhazia, Svaneti, Khevsureti, Kakheti, Meskheti, Javakheti, Guria, Imereti, Racha, Lechkhumi and Ossetia.Each exhibit presents a certain historic-ethnographic area of Georgia. Together with architectural monuments, the museum presents ethnographic materials - different kinds of tools, textiles, and ceramics. The museum also includes the 5th-6th century basilica of Sioni, as well as a rich collection of grave stones in relief.
 Visitors can explore on their own, or enjoy guided tours around the museum. The museum provides a tranquil environment for visitors to experience Georgian folk exhibitions and festivals throughout the year, and has a quaint Georgian restaurant where you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Tbilisi.

 The State Silk Museum is one of the oldest museums in Georgia as well as one of the oldest silk museums in the world. Originally it was a part of the sericulture station, founded in Tbilisi in 1887. Nikolay Shavrov, member of the Moscow Agricultural Imperial Society, led the centre.Nowadays the collections of the museum includes all kinds of exhibits connected with the silk production: collection of mulberry and its products; collections of silkworms, butterflies, cocoons (5.000 breeds and variations); collection of natural and synthetic dyes with samples; collections of models for domestic and industrial silk production; collections of silk products etc.; photo archive; especially interesting is that the museum collections represent all countries with traditions of silk production. Most of the collections of the museum are collected by N. Shavrov and donated by European, Russian and Caucasian colleagues. Among them are: dancers of Flamenco, Indian captain and kimonoed Japanese ladies, personages of Georgian tales and literature works, dancer girls, the girl with soap-bubble etc. In 1990-ies the museum was robbed and there lost several unique exhibits. Tbilisi automuseum was based on a private collection, which was collected for 18 years. The museum was opened on October 25, 2014, during the Tbilisoba festival. According to the decision of the Tbilisi City Assembly an unnamed street adjacent to the museum was named as the Automuseum Street. At first, the museum’s exposition included 25 cars, since then the number of exhibits has been constantly increasing. On May 14, 2017, after restoration, two unique exhibits were added to the museum's collection: GAZ-M1 (also known as Emka) and the GAZ-4 pickup truck - about five such cars have survived around the world today.  National Centre of Manuscripts was established on the basis of the Korneli Kekelidze Institute of Manuscripts in 2006 (the institute was founded in 1958 on the basis of State Museum of Georgia).  The museum houses collections of Georgian and South Caucasian people authentic musical instruments, as well as European mechanical and classical musical instruments, collection of arghans. In the museum are kept manuscript notes of Georgian folk music, audio-video records, phono-photo materials.  Elene Akhvlediani House Museum
 The house museum was founded in a studio of well-known artist, Elene Akhvlediani (1901-1975), one of the founders of new Georgian art. The artist in her young years studied art in Italy and France (Coloros Academy in Paris); Her exhibitions turned attention of French art critics and artists. The studio used to be an art saloon, where were held poetry readings, concerts. The museum houses various collections: works of Elene Akhvlediani (landscape paintings, graphics, and set designer works of different periods); collection of craft samples (XIX-XX c.c.) from Georgian regions, collected by the artist. The museum keeps the tradition and organizes various meetings, concerts, and educational programs.

 The museum was established in the home-studio of well-known Georgian painter, Mose Toidze (1871-1953). The museum houses paintings and graphics of the artist, photo and documentary materials (more than 2.000 items), as well as works of his son - painter Irakli Toidze.  The museum houses sculptures, sketches, photos and documentary materials of well-known Georgian artist's Iakob Nikoladze (1876-1951). He was founder of Georgian realistic sculpture school and one of the founders of Tbilisi State Academy Fine Art. The artist studied art in Russia and France (in studio of well-known French artist Auguste Rodin).  The museum houses rich materials which reflect history of old and contemporary Georgian Theatre, Music, Cinema and Choreography. Among them are: samples of the XVII c. painting, Persian miniatures, German and French prints, works of XX c. artists, Collection of personal letters, manuscripts, archives of well-known writers and public figures. In the museum are stored also theatre costumes, memorial belongings, audio-video records, playbills, programmes, films, collections of theatre decorative art, etc. At the moment the museum is under the complete reconstruction.Address: 6, Kargareteli str.  The museum houses collections of XIX-XX c.c. craft works from Georgia, as well as objects, mage by other Caucasian nations. In the museum are displayed gold and silver items, also objects - adornments, belts, weapons, household objects; there are also collections of Caucasian rugs and carpets, silk, leather, heavy cloth, felt objects, Khevsiretian (East Georgia, mountainous region) clothes, embroidery samples, tapestry; collection of local musical instruments; collections of folk craft objects.
