1-Day Heliski Program Powder Adventure for Gudauri & Mestia
*Additional runs may be available depending on the status of the day’s program and the number of guests interested. The price of the extra run is 118 EUR per person. (Minimum of 3 paying guests in the helicopter is required for this option).
Heliski program includes:
• 5 runs/drops
• Special powder skis (Dynastar Cham107); ski poles
• Safety equipment (Mammut Barryvox transceiver + airbag backpack + related avalanche gear)
• Safety orientation and training on the use of safety equipment
• Professional guide services (UIAGM / IFMGA / IVBV mountain guides)
• VAT
Please note: We do not provide ski/snowboard boots and helmets. In case of Heliboarding, please take your snowboard with you.
The price for 1-day program is fixed and cannot be changed or reduced.
During one-day program, our flying is limited to one or two ski zones. However, each zone offers several run options and you will be able to ski different slopes, as long as avalanche hazard is not of concern on theses slopes. Mainly guests do runs in a closer area as this particular program does not include flying in longer distance.
On a 1-day program basis, minimum requirement is 4 participants, (8, 12, etc.) i.e. full groups, for the helicopter to fly. Priority always goes to the multi-day programs. That's the reason 1-day heliski is only booked on spot (a day before latest till 4 PM) in case we have some free spots to fill. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee there will be seats available.
Deposit Policy
For One-day packages, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations and Refund Policy
One-day Packages: If you choose to cancel, the payment you have made is not refundable, regardless of when we receive your cancellation.
No refund will be given in whole or in part for unused days/runs/vertical meters/flying time within the package due to late arrival or early departure, sickness or injury, lack of fitness or poor skiing ability.
Weather or Mechanical No-Fly Days
Weather considerations or other unforeseen problems preventing safe flying /skiing may cause Heliksir Ltd to cancel a day program or part of a multi-day program. In that case we will try to reschedule your reservation to the next day, or if this is not possible, you will receive a refund for the deposit you paid. Refunds will then be issued based on Heliksir’s established rates: One-day programs: full refund will be granted. Refunds will be issued for runs and or *un-skied runs (*if the program is open, then particular calculations apply).
Insurance
Please note that medical evacuation is not included in any packages.
We recommend you purchase medical travel insurance prior to arriving in Gudauri and make sure it includes ground or air ambulance transfers.
Please take into account that none of our programs include insurance, neither for helicopter flights nor for heliski or trip cancellation insurance. For that reasons, we always recommend our guests to purchase a Trip Cancellation Insurance. Moreover, health and accident insurances with "worldwide" coverage are the responsibility of the holder.
