May 9: Victory Day in Georgia (6 days, 5 nights)

Day 1 (06.05.): Tbilisi
Arrival to Tbilisi. Meeting with the representatives of the agency. Hotel accommodation. Overnight.
• Transfer from Kutaisi Airport to Tbilisi by shuttle bus – 12 euros per person one way. Day 2 (07.05.): Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Tbilisi
Breakfast. Excursion in Tbilisi: "Old Town" - is the historic center of Tbilisi, that is located at the root of Mtatsminda (Holy Mount) mountain. Almost all of the buildings of the Old Town are historical and cultural sites, this part of the city is round - the - clock full of life, here walk alone or in groups tourists, meet lovers near the Clock Tower. This amuzing Tower appeared here recently, built by the Puppet Theatre director Rezo Gabriadze. Here artists exhibit their paintings, artisans offer numerous souvenirs. Basically there are 2-3-storey houses, built of brick and stone, and of particular Tbilisi architecture, distinguished by narrow streets, galleries and carved wooden balconies. During the excursion visit of: Mechetian Church ( V c.), Anchiskhati Basilica of St Mary – the oldest surviving church, Synaxis of Saint Truinity, temple complex of Tsminda Sameba – the main Cathedral of Georgian Orthodox Church. The rise by the cable car (tickets for extra charge) to the Narikala fortress ( IV c.).
Then, Excursion to Mtskheta. Visit of Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (1010-1029), at the bottom of which is buried one of the major Christian relics Lords chiton, one of the most important sacred artifacts of the New Testament that after the crucifixion of Christ was brought to Mtskheta by Elioz - one of the witnesses of his death on the cross, and it is also the burial place of many of the Georgian kings. Here is also the part of life-giving pillar. Visit of the ancient temple - monastery Jvari (VI c.). On the top of the mountain where the temple is placed, opens a fantastic view on the place of junction of two rivers - Kura and Aragvi. There also opens a beautiful view on the ancient capital of Georgia - Mtskheta. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight. Day 3 (08.05.): Tbilisi or a trip to Kakheti (for an additional fee)
Breakfast. Free day. You will have an opportunity to stroll along the Peace Bridge, in the Old City, to get up on the lift to Narikala fortress, and see the city from the bird's eye; you will be able to visit Golden Treasury of the National Museum of Georgia, and other permanent exhibitions at the National Museum, have a walk at Rustaveli Avenue.
We offer an excusion to the ethnographic museum in the open air, covering an area of 52 hectares. There are included 14 ethnographic zones: Kartli, Samegrelo, Adjara, Abkhazia, Svaneti, Khevsureti, Kakheti, Meskheti Javakheti, Guria, Imereti, Racha Lechkhumi and Ossetia. Along with the architectural monuments in the museum there are exhibited ethnographic materials, such as different kinds of tools, textiles and ceramics. The museum also exhibites the Basilica of Sioni of V-VI centuries, as well as a rich collection of gravestones with relief images. Overnight.

Breakfast. Departure to "town of everlasting love"Sighnaghi. On the way, visit the monument of the "Soldier's Father" in Gurjuani. Today, the sculpture "Soldier's Father" symbolizes the sadness of all parents who lost their children in the war. Its symbolism and size carry the burden of eternal memory of sacrifice and courage. This monument is a silent testimony of the times when every soldier became a father, and the war left a mark on the heart of every Georgian. Walk along the ancient town Sighnaghi, that is placed at the top of the ridge, overlooking Alazani valley. It was currently restored to its original from. Then, passing through, acquaintance with the history of the Manavi Fortress (XI c.) and the Manavi Temple (XVIII c.). The church was built in 1794 by the abbot of the monastery of John the Baptist from the monastery David Gareji - Ephraim. In the 17th century here was located the royal vineyards and the estate of Heraclius II. Stop in the pearl of Kakheti - a private estate "Chateau Fort de Manavi". Day 4 (09.05.): Tbilisi - Gori - Tbilisi
9 May: Victory Day
Breakfast. Drive to Gori. Visit to the Stalin Museum in Gori. The museum consists of three parts - the museum, the house and Stalin's personal railway carriage. Return to Tbilisi. Party in the Wake Park at the monument of the Eternal Flame and the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where on Victory Day practically the entire city gathers - veterans and the youth of the city. Festive dinner. Overnight.
Day 5 (10.05.): Tbilisi - Ananuri fortress - Gudauri - Kazbegi - Tbilisi
Breakfast. Excursion to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). On the way to it, we overlook the picturesque Ananuri fortress (XVI c.), located above Aragvi river, and also the amazing beauty of Zhinvali reservoir. In passing the ski resort Gudauri (2200 m), the stunning trip along Tergi river, through Cross Pass (2400 m), will bring us to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). Excursion in Kazbegi: church of the Most Holy Gergeti Trinity (2170 m above the sea level). Upon request jeep ride to the Gergheti church (for wxtra charge). When the weather is fair, the stunning view on the mountain Kazbeg (5147 m), one of the highest tops of Georgia, opens. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight.
Day 6 (11.05.): Tbilisi
Breakfast. Free time. Farewell with guests, transfer to the airport.
